I figured out the cause of the problem. I am using Mandrake-Linux 8.2, and
all of its locale is defined as "tr" instead of "tr_TR", which is the RedHat
nomenclature. I exported "tr_TR" to LC_ALL and only then I started to see
Turkish messages. However, I am a bit anxious that this might interfere with
other programs that I've been using so far. So, here comes my next question
to test your patience :). Should I change the nls directory name form
"tr_TR" to "tr" (and all the adjustments in config.in, Makefile.am, etc),
re-built blackbox to use "tr" as my locale, or is there a simpler way?
Assuming the answer would be no, do you anticipate any problems in
re-compilation with these settings?

Thanks,

Hakan
