I'm not sure what you mean by "source .xsession". Putting commands
into this file doesn't work on my Mandrake 7.0/BlackBox system. I've
tried it. That's how I had all the frustration. After
you select the window manager, I'm pretty sure that the only thing that
happens is that it executes the command given in the window-managers
file, which (before I modified it) was the ../blackbox command. If it
were taking info from .xsession, then my editing window-managers would
surely not work. Something, somewhere, has to have the last say, and
on my machine, it seems to be window-managers.
