It's all a matter of how you organize stuff.  Personally, I like 4 screens, 
and generally I have it organized with one screen for web browsing, email and 
Usenet news (Mozilla, mutt and trn), one screen doing word processing (Star 
Office), one screen doing development work (several xterms and gvim sessions), 
and one screen doing research work for the product development (man pages, 
more Mozilla windows, maybe a few less or gvims looking at other people's 
source code).  Occassionally instead of the Star Office screen, I'll have two 
pieces of development work going on in different screens.
