Hmmm. Yeah, I agree with you on the style plugin, and I'm not quite
sure I'm 100% satisfied with it myself. My biggest issue is that I
can't see the style plugin laying out cleanly with more branches than it
has right now. In other words, if you took out all the tabs and added
all those to the tree, I see it getting ugly and even more confusing
than it is.
On the rolling your own configure script, while that's a neat thing to
do, I'm not sure I necessarily want to go there, especially with all the
crap that is involved with this project with Qt and X and c++ devel
packages and all. And I don't understand why you have to remove
/usr/bin/auto* for this to compile on your box--what's up with that? =:)
