Then what do you need a taskbar for anyway? It is actually hardly being used. Only to switch workspaces (but that could be done from the workspaces menu!) and for date/time (but you could just give the "date" command in a terminal or use some other date/time icon). If you do have the toolbar why not add some (slight) functionality? And this need not disturb extreem minimalists if 1) it is a compile time option, and 2) does not add excessively to the code base. > P.P.S - How does using xv / script with Eterm cause problems??
