Well, yes for the most part the taskbar provides minimial functionality
for me; including switching desktops (when I don't use the keyboard),
displaying the date & if needed allowing me to switch between all the
active programs on the workspace. However, I do like it there with or
without the iconbar patch (F.T.R - I have used the iconbar-patch here &
there and have enjoyed it).

I never disagreed with your idea of including the taskbar-iconbar-patch
into blackbox and I agreed 100% that the idea of an option at compile time
was a brillant idea. However, as mentioned in my previous email & above
the most important things are that it is not difficult to implement or
maintain.

I refer to your previous email:

" It would also be very nice to have the option of setting a background
pixmap in the styles definitions next to 'solid', 'mod' and 'gradient'.
(and more elegant than using xv or display + some kind of script).
Especially for Eterm users like myself. "

I never meant to imply that it caused problems, it's nearly 1am in the
morning here in Aus and 'cause problems' was not the best choice of words.
I understood what you meant, however I fail to see how using that is
anymore easier than using either xv or bsetbg in a theme file.

My main query was your comment, "Especially for Eterm users like myself".
I do not understand that line. Was it supposed to illustrate a
certain issue / concern that Eterm was having or to illustrate
a level of skills or a taste for a specific program style? That is the
main brunt of what my P.P.S was in regards to.
