I'm not the slightest bit interested in starting yet another
emacs-vs-the-rest-of-the-world war... but let me say that even if I *were*
using emacs as an editor, the last thing I'd want to be doing is using it
for my mail.

Emacs is so against the normal *nix philosophy of specific tools for
specific ends...
