See pages 103-107 of Howard's user manual. QS actually has 3 different
kinds of clipboard-style functions (Clipboard History, Clipboard
Storage, and the Shelf), and the one most appropriate for your needs
is best determined by you. If these are snippets that you use all the
time, the Shelf is probably the most useful to you.

To just paste a recent clipboard history item, bring up the clipboard
history window by any of various methods (a trigger is probably a good
idea) and then press the number of the item you want to paste. It
takes two keystrokes, but you get a greater range of options.
