Dear readers,

I am having the following problems with Quicksilver and am not easily
finding answers on this or other fora. Please direct me to appropriate
reading or assist with me something new:

1. I have command-G set to "pull selection from front application
instead of Finder" but when I use this trigger, it only works with
Finder. Other times all I get is an empty bezel with "type in search,"
even though I have something selected in the front app.

2. Command-escape doesn't work at all. (Isn't this supposed to bring a
selection into Quicksilver without my invoking Quicksilver?)

3. I had the problem of custom triggers all deleting if Quicksilver
was quit, but then I found that a trigger to run a text in large type
(either immediately or after a delay) was responsible. I deleted this
and have not had disappearing triggers anymore, but I have had other
random trigger-trouble: setting the trigger in the flashing window not
having any affect, or only part or none of the trigger appearing in
the list of triggers. Also, I would like to be able to use my large-
type trigger again.

4. Are iTunes triggers preset or do I have to configure each of them
myself? It appears to be the latter, but I find this difficult to
believe.

5. I cannot access my shelf. When I invoke QS and type in shelf, all I
get is "Shelf and Clipboard (in Catalogue)" in both pains. I have the
shelf module plug-in installed, and I have "shelf and clipboard"
checked in the Catalogue.

I also I have "enable advanced features" checked.

I am using B54 but am seeing things about B56 and am wondering how to
get it and if it fixes some of these problems.

Thanks for your help!

Philip
