It happened to me too. Quicksilver wouldbe really slow, say 15 seconds for 
text i typed to show up, and then 20 more seconds for the actions to appear.
It seems to me that it was related to the switch from
a 32bit kernel (the default) to the 64bit one. As soon as I switched back to 
the 32bit kernel the problem is gone.
