A few days ago, QuickSilver suddenly started to hang. The only update
I can recall is an Apple update to Java, but I'm pretty sure the
hanging didn't start until a couple few after that.

I've tried re-running the install script, uninstalling and
reinstalling, and then uninstalling, deleting the support files as
described in the FAQ and reinstalling again. None of those seem to
work.

Any help is much appreciated. Quicksilver is a necessity for me. :(
