Have you been using the Clipboard History module? Sometimes that can cause issues if you copy and paste the contents of several large image files in a row. If so, delete ~/Library/Application Support/ Quicksilver/Shelves/QSPasteboardHistory.qsshelf while QS is not running, and then try again.
