I posted on the subject some days ago. I don't use Clipboard history neither. Luckily (?) in my case the hanging comes and goes. I haven't figured out what causes this behaviour. It seems to me some memory leak triggered by something random. I can't replicate it. I use qs b58 under mac os x 10.6.4. Lab
