Recently I can't enter administrator or encrypted-disk passwords when Quicksilver is running. For example, this morning I plugged in my encrypted Time Machine disk and when the "enter password to access <this disk>" dialog box came up, rather than the cursor blinking in the password field as usual I saw the dialog box above my application, inactive, as if I'd clicked outside it. Each time I clicked inside the password field to type, the cursor would very briefly blink inside it but then the dialog box would once again became inactive (and the most recent application became active). The workaround I've found is to quit Quicksilver while entering the password. Any other ideas?
This is on a MacBook Air 13-inch, late 2010, running OS X 10.8.2 and Quicksilver beta 70. I am not sure when exactly the problem came up -- it may have been when I upgraded to Mountain Lion, as I haven't used this Mac a lot since then. I've Googled around for this problem and haven't seen anything. My apologies if this is a FAQ that I somehow missed! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
