Make sure you use “E-mail To… (Send Directly)” and not “E-mail To… (Send)”. I realize it’s not obvious. It’s documented in the E-mail Support plug-in’s help: Compose vs. Send vs. Direct The actions have either "Compose", "Send", or "Direct" in their name somewhere. Compose Send the text or file(s) using your e-mail client. A new message will open for further editing. Send Send the text or file(s) using your e-mail client. The message will be sent immediately. Direct Send the text or file(s) immedately without opening an e-mail client. Though the client doesn't need to run, this action still requires that your e-mail client be configured with the details for at least one SMTP server. I also realize that looking at the documentation wasn’t an obvious thing to do in this case. For many years, the help for plug-ins was usually not helpful, and the E-mail Support plug-in was actually hidden, making it more difficult. But it has good documentation now and is visible in the prefs, so take a look. :-) -- Rob McBroom <http://www.skurfer.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quicksilver" group.
