Rob - thanks, but that's not it, as there is no external drive connected. It has happened even when I'm not connected to a wireless network, just while I was making some notes in the passenger seat of the car. Could it be an SSD thing? Are there some patterns of use that could make an SSD unresponsive to QS but not to other applications? The laptop is running very well otherwise.
