I tried plain F11 and F12 and I think the only reason they didn’t work
in my case is that Mission Control is already using them. You might
check that.
Then there's this issue I encountered in playing with the Fkeys. Best
explained with the attached screen shot.
Suffice to say, I can't change Mute, Decrease or Increase for some
reason.
Most of the triggers in that screen shot are disabled (via the check box
to the left). Make sure they’re on before trying to use them. Are you
saying you can’t modify triggers, or that they don’t work after you
do?
