Man, I wish I could have stayed on Snow Leopard on all my machines. I'm
still on 10.6 on my MBP that stays at home, my Mac Mini that stays at work
is on 10.9 so all my audio stuff works nicely. This Macbook Air that goes
between home and work can't be downgraded to 10.6, and I had a notion that
with a relatively feeble processor and not a lot of RAM this machine would
do best on the OS it shipped with. Also I know of at least one piece of
software I use that the programmer stopped updating after 10.7, so I've
just left the machine on that OS--and of course this ends up being the
machine I'm on most often for everyday stuff apart from dedicated audio
projects.

I appreciate you still trying to reproduce my little issue.
