Yes, I realized it quickly that jasper needs the patch. Jbig2 I'm working
on. IJS can be made into a shared library that gutenprint uses. I've used
http://www.openprinting.org/download/ijs/download/ in the past.
I'm not sure that the expat is even pulled in, even from the internal
copy. I need to check more. I would really like to use the system
freetype, but haven't tried anything there yet. LCMS I've not looked into
yet either.
And actually, unless we do something, IJS should not be an optional
dependency.
