Funny that you should ask this right now. I am now in the process of updating BLFS to address the earlier discussion. I went to the LiveCD repository and am printing out the Makefile as I type this. I think a current hint is the way to go. The details are in the Makefile and need not be repeated. What is needed is a general description of what is done: 1. Create LFS with (specify exceptions) 2. Add BLFS packages (list most important but it would be to taste) 3. Other packages??? 4. Put in a directory 5. mkisofs Does this capture the essence? Of course, point to http://svn.linuxfromscratch.org/viewcvs.cgi/trunk/?root=livecd A bit of explanation of each of the above would flesh it out. I think that someone familiar with the process could flesh this out in a couple of free hours. IMO, There is no need to go to a low level of detail. -- Bruce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
