Hi all, The MPlayer instructions lists 'XvMC Wrapper' as an optional dependency. This package provides the libXvMCW.so library which is now installed in the new Xorg (Xorg6.9 for sure, as that is what I have installed, and I just have to assume that 7.0 provides it as well).
If anyone can confirm that Xorg-7.x and the new XFree also provides this library, then the dependency should be removed from MPlayer.
