I suppose it isn't a bad thing to revisit this issue every once in a while. I'm for keeping both in the book. But I'm also basing my decision on the fact that the 6.9 version will be pulled out eventually. I would rather not remove both version that have a simple build method. We have a variety of many packages. I don't see how X is any different.
