Also consider that some Editors (myself being one) would use the
input from a regarded community member (such as yourself, Alexander)
and go on your word alone. Of course, an Editor would still build
the package and ensure it builds and installs as advertised, but
the testing of the software could be trusted to community members.

So to summarize:

If a regarded community member were to say "I've installed it and
it works as it is supposed to", that is good enough for me.
