Well, my remembering was that we decided to add stuff *into* the configuration section. However, I'm guilty of allowing this to drift into a paragraph (or note) directly underneath the actual dependencies (right before the wiki link) as I just felt it was more appropriate there. As far as HAL, you picked a strange beast to use as an example. I can't think of *any* other package that even remotely comes close to that amount and type of run-time depends. I'm flexible and willing to go any way we decide. I do like having them listed underneath the actual dependencies, but in some sort of descriptive note along with it. It just seems to be more practical having dependencies grouped somewhat together. Keep in mind, however, that my message in -book directly reflects the fact that in the KDE-Base instructions, run-time dependencies are listed in two different places in the instructions. Whatever we decide, I'd like to see those condensed together. -- Randy rmlscsi: [bogomips 1003.26] [GNU ld version 2.16.1] [gcc (GCC) 4.0.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.6] [Linux 2.6.14.3 i686] 19:29:00 up 22 days, 19:43, 1 user, load average: 0.17, 0.33, 0.52 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
