Well, the simple answer is that I don't - I trusted you guys mostly,
although I try to read all the package docs too.  It wasn't meant as a
criticism, more an encouragement.  I think BLFS gets it as right as is
feasible with the effort.

Having become the local computing and Linux guru (by default, not
wisdom!) I have to run Ubuntu now, 'cos I've 'sold' it to so many...
