Clearly, you don't appreciate that:

1) these prices only apply in the USA - in the UK: double them - i.e.
technology exchange rate: £1=$1.
2) my tank of gas costs about $150, as gas is $2 a litre here
(non-technology exchange rate: £1=$2).

My monthly pension check has to cover food as well as gas and
computers, and the prices are rising very very fast.

I buy about one tank of gas a month - it's all I can afford.

It most certainly is NOT a personal decision for me.
