What I can do is create a new chapter call 'Gnome Deprecated' and move the following to this chapter. 9. ORBit-2.14.19 10. libbonobo-2.32.1 14. libgnome-2.32.1 15. libgnomecanvas-2.30.3 16. libbonoboui-2.24.5 19. gnome-vfs-2.24.4 20. libgnomeui-2.24.5 25. gnome-media-2.32.0 That way, no other packages out side of the Gnome chapters will be affected. Then I can continue to update Gnome to the latest version. FYI, GConf can now be built without ORBit2.
