I'm having a problem with testing ImageMagick-6.7.9-6 beforw putting it
into the book.
If I do
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --with-modules --with-perl
make
make check
I get lots of FAILs in Magick++/{tests,demo}
If I add --without-magick-plus-plus, make check is clean.
The make install procedure, builds the Magick++ programs anyway, but
does not install them.
I then went back and built the book's current ImageMagick-6.7.8-6 and
there were no check failures at all.
I'm inclined to use the --without-magick-plus-plus option because it
does not seem ready yet. I asked on the IM developers list yesterday,
but have received no responses.
What do you think?
