I have received a private email that suggests several changes and I'd like to throw them out to everyone for comment.
Remove packages bc eject pkgconfig old udev, rename udev-extras to udev These were left in BLFS to support older versions of LFS, but they are getting long in the tooth. Merge obexd into BlueZ 5. Remove blueman because it is not being supported upstream. Remove gamin since it's been replaced by inotify. Remove gnupg version 1. It's still maintained, but is it useful if gnupg2 can do the job? Remove printproto and libXp since they are basically unused. Remove libidl and slib since they are not used by any BLFS packages. Remove libmpeg3 and esound because they are unmaintained and not needed. Rename libcap2 to libcap Rename goffice010 to goffice I really can't think of any objections and I do like the idea of removing unused packages.
