Ah, thanks for that. This system was built in early June, but I
seem to be using the "upsteam_libgomp_fix-1.patch" so perhaps I
missed that change.

For the moment, I'll avoid rebuilding gcc - this system is now
working out its time as a test-bed for kde5 so that I can decide if
it will be worth me trying it.

Unfortunately, I seem to have another problem with qt-5.5.0 : I'm
using MAKEFLAGS of "-j4 -O" but the build is not exceeding more than
100% CPU according to 'top' (instead of the intended 400%). It took
over 6 hours to get to that failure, so I think the indication of
only one CPU is correct. ...

/me swears. I just tried building git with -j3 and total load was
still only 100%. Looks like a problem with my 4.2.0-rc1 kernel
config. Back to 4.1 to see how things look : there, as soon as
'make' starts, 'top' shows all 4 cores at > 92% each. Hopefully,
I've made a bad config choice somewhere (otherwise the fulltime
kernel developers would have noticed) - this is the first "serious"
compilation with this kernel (for the earlier small packages, I left
it running).
