Running with SAL_FORCESKIA=1 SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=qt5 the About box says I am 
rendering with Skia/Vulkan and VCL qt5.  I will run that way for a while and 
see if anything untoward happens.
I just put Vulkan on a short while ago so I could play with it myself so that 
is fortuitous timing.
