That is exactly what I've done. In fact, if I either try to compile qt and kde following the blfs instructions, or try to compile both using konstruct, I get the same errors. On the first place, I've followed what is said in the blfs book, but since I couldn't complete the installation, I fell back to konstruct to find the same errors. I've installed, as you recommend, libpng, jpeg, libmng and many other things I needed before compiling QT by either way, but It still fail when trying to use dcopidl.... I don't have enough skill in programming to see by myself what is wrong, so if one of you think of things to check, try, debug so as to clear this problem, I'm ready to follow the instructions ! Thanks for your help anyway.
