I think that both of you, I mean Dan and montassar pointed out what was wrong
with my install. When I re-installed my machine, I went through lfs6.1 point
by point, and so I'm running udev-0.56, blfs-bootscripts-20060430 and
hotplug-2004_09_23.
Over this, I've regularly upgraded my kernel, so that I'm now running
linux-2.6.17.3. If I upgrade all of that, in what order should I do it ?
Must I follow the lfs, or it doesn't matter at all ?
Thanks for your help anyway, I'd never thought it could be the base of the
problem, 'cause I thought I was up-to-date ;-) !
