are cups problems with this configuration - cups 2.6.7, KDE 3.5.2 - known ? I installed cups, the tests local are all OK, but the printer is not beeing broadcasted. Neither local, nor in the local area net. I get the old known message ------------ An error occurred while retrieving the printer list: Connection to CUPS server failed. Check that the CUPS server is correctly installed and running. Error: connection refused. ------------ I am pretty familiar with cups, I have installed it a dozen times, and it is running under my old blfs, so I presume rather a bug. I can print local using LPR/LPRng Print System in the System configuration, but no way trying to do it as CUPS, and no way trying to connect through the LAN Help highly appreciated. The error message can be found hundred of times googling, but I could not find specific help. Edgar
