Hi Edgar,

 I'm pretty sure your cups *isn't* 2.6.7, so please check which
version it really is.  I've seen this specific message - the first
time, I think it was down to changes in cups (authentication was
enforced, but no certificates were created, or something like that).

 What do you mean by 'the tests local are all OK' ?

 For me, cups-1.2.2 (and kde-3.5.5) seem to work fine.  I know that
1.2.4 is out, but I haven't tried it.  I've had problems with some
of the earlier releases/candidates in the 1.2 series, and at one
point an earlier kde needed to be changed to work with the headers I
was using.

 Anything in the cups log ? (You might need to turn on the verbose
option - that will certainly make the logs a lot bigger.)
