There's a big difference, though, between hating the CLI and appreciating not having to use it. Why set up wireless network connections by hand, for example, when NetworkManager lets you simply pick an access point from a list? Why open each image in a directory to find the one you want, when the graphical file manager shows a preview of them all? Why go to the command line to mount a flash drive, when the desktop can do it for you? A CLI is a wonderfully powerful tool, but it's not always the best one. Simon.
