BLFS has xterm, but that is quite basic, it doesn't support dragging and dropping a file into the window. I can't live with any of the terminal emulators in the book. I started writing these pages because most of the things I use to get stuff done are not in the book. There's more to a BLFS page than configure/make/make-install. The dependencies are important. In this case, the dependency vte2_90 is also not in the book so I had to write that too.
