Glad to hear it! This is the first time I've heard of any problem with hardware flow control and USB/RS232 adapters. It is possible that your cable does not carry all the needed signals for that. On the other hand, I found this: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg49419.html which states: "I would not trust the hardware flow control across pl2303 anyway. It's a driver developed by reverse-engineering. Prolific was not forthcoming with the documentation." Sigh.
