Some folks have had problems with hal getting in the way: * http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=136676&page=2 Remedy was to do: $ chmod 000 /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/gparted-disable-automount.fdi $ service haldaemon restart Of course, you may need to adjust the path &/or the restart-daemon command. Worth checking-out just to try 'eliminating it from yr enquiries'. akh -- -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
