Yeah I read that note about how its not supposed to be a public API 
either, but there was an error in the log that it couldn't find it, and 
now its build since I linked it into place.  Maybe the Squid Developers 
didn't read that note, and also their configure script isn't nice to 
tell you its missing things like other ones are?
