 I can't in all honesty say that I'll try that, but thanks for
documenting it.  I increased the font size with ctrl+ and made the
screen bigger by pulling it, used, closed.  Ran it again, the
enlarged screen was in the same place, but the font was its original
small size.

 Obviously a local problem, but for the moment I'm happy to stick to
evince-3.8 (will try 3.10 when I build gnome), and epdfview for PDFs
where it works.

 Anyway, back to testing other packages with make-4.0 : after the
issues with 3.82 (e.g gstreamer, ISTR) I'm still expecting that
something other than glibc will fail to build out of the box :)
