Hi,

Just finished a new build of LFS-8.1 and moving on to BLFS, I have a
couple of points of confusion.

The libffi package seems to be missing in the development book index
and also as a requirement for p11-kit.

Don't mix the books. If you installed LFS is 8.1, you should be using BLFS-8.1. If you want to use the development version, you should update and install all of the LFS packages.

The new arrangement of Certificate Authority Certificates is a bit
confusing if you assume the usual, unpack, cd to the unpacked
directory, follow the instructions. The second line calls wget, which
is not listed as a requirement, and although that is obvious, its a
little disconcerting since CAC is a recommended prerequisite for wget.

That is an example, not a userinput box, but it is difficult to tell the difference. I'll make mention of it or move it below the initial setup instructions. The explanation and example need to be there as a lot of people are unfamiliar with the way the trusts work. The whole point is to show that the trust arguments for the certs in /etc/ssl/local take precedence over all other sources. Since we always regenerate the entire stack, no ugly configuration files if you need to override the distro (Mozilla) defaults.

Thanks.
