It sounds like the person using the spam system is the one who needs to do something, as it is list mail that is being blocked, not yours.
I have received such messages in the past when sending mail to a movie buffs list I am on. In that instance, my messages were returned by a few people's ISP's because it was flagged as spam. Just like in your instance, some of those cases told me to click on a link, and in other cases, I wasn't provided a link to click on to verify that my mail was not spam. The way I figure it, why should you be the one to risk infecting your system with some unknown, while the person who is bouncing on that list remains relatively safe from harm? I think you should let the person who moderates that list, or, at least, owns it, know that who ever belongs to that ISP, should notify their ISP that your messages, or, the list messages are not Spam, and that they should remove the mail server address from their black list of e-mail servers. I don't approve of this kind of censorship. No one should be able to tell me what I should receive in my inbox and what I shouldn't, after all, that's why we have blocked senders list, right? Unless people start complaining that our mail is being diverted for no good reason, except that someone else thinks it's spam, then this problem will never get resolved. I have contacted ISP's on behalf of two members on another list I am on, and in both instances, I was able to advise the supervisor that the blacklist was, in effect, a breach of contract, wherein, the contract stipulated that they would provide internet connectivity, not mail censorship, and that this also constituted a breach of their own privacy policy, which they constantly ask patrons to refer to. Too bad they don't do some referring of their own. In any case, in my opinion, this is not a worthwhile risk to take, and you should advise the moderators of your list as soon as possible. You may find that the moderators are well aware of this problem, as a certain e-mail address is constantly bouncing, and they are constantly having to send re-activation requests. Just my opinion, from one moderator to another.
