Hi Patricia, It could be that there is no text in the pdf, or it wasn't O C R'd One way to get a better idea, is open the document in Adobe, and then go to the file menu, and select, save as text. Once you have done this, close Adobe, and go open the text file you just saved If the document is blank, then you know there was no text there, if not, then, there you go! HTH, Richard Q.
