Patricia. PDF TO TEXT assumes one of the following situations.

1. Because the .PDF document is untagged, it will not read properly if
Adobe is used.
2. You do not have a working version of Adobe and need a document converted
quickly and reliably.

One of the problems with Adobe is that there are several kinds of .PDF
documents. Some of them are hell in a hand basket let me tell you. This
little program seems to have better luck at times when it comes to
converting those annoying .PDF files. PDF TO TEXT is relatively fast in
its processing time as well. There are some .pdf
documents that won't convert no matter what you do. But as time goes by and
Adobe improves, they are less likely. Adobe's newest version is pretty good
at analyzing a document and determining the reading order by the context.
That, in and of itself, is pretty amazing when you think about it.
