This happened to me when I had jaws 7.10 and installed version 8 of jaws also. When I worked with jaws 8 everything was ok, but when I used 7.10 I experienced the same thing as you. The only way to resolve this is to fully uninstall all versions of jaws including the shared components and install only the version that works well - either the old one or the newer. The easier thing is to use only the version that has no problems and keep the other version without uninstalling anything. HTH Negoslav
