Here I am again with another hard drive and a question..

We exchanged the SeaGate for a Western Digital My Book with it's own power
supply hard drive. I did Victor's steps to determine the formatting and
found that it was saying File System Fat32 and then I started to format this
and while I was barely started in the process, I wanted to check with jaws
cursor how long it would take and when I did that, I heard it say...NTFS so
I am confused because I don't know if this means the formattingwill make it
NTSF or if it's already formatted?
I copied here pasted what some of the results said..
My Book (J:) Properties
General AutoPlay Tools Hardware Sharing
My Book
Type: Local Disk
File system: FAT32
Used space: 350,355,456 bytes 334 MB
Free space: 499,632,734,208 bytes 465 GB
Capacity: 499,983,089,664 bytes 465 GB
Disk CleanupDrive J

This is before I started the formatting process, so should I continue the
formatting or is this thing already formatted?

Thanks,

Patricia
