Gerald,
I was able to remove it by using the third selection which was
remove. It doesn't show when I use the program to look at my programs. But
when I go to Control Panel it does show up there. What does this mean?

Have you tried a third-party uninstaller utility like Revo Uninstaller to
remove this program? I use Revo all the time now instead of Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs because it performs a more complete uninstallation.
Even if you can't remove E-Backup the normal way, Revo may do the trick by
removing leftover traces. It's free and worth a try:
