Hi,
Paint (see startmenu, programs or All Programs, accessories, paint)
can be really handy for example if you're working in a virtual machine and
don't have speech.
You can print screen shots to the printer pertaining to your OCR package and
sometimes you get pretty useful results.
Anyway, here's a bit about the program from the Paint help file:

"Paint is a drawing tool you can use to create simple or elaborate drawings.
These drawings can be either black-and-white or color, and can be saved as
bitmap files. You can print your drawing, use it for your desktop
background, or paste it into another document. You can even use Paint to
view and edit scanned photos. "

I have no idea myself what mspaint is, but if you follow the Solona
instructions, you can save the captia as an image file. You just press
Alt-Print Page, type "mspaint" into the Run dialog, hit Enter and press
Control-V to paste the result into mspaint to create the image file for
uploading. Then you select Save As from the File menu to save it to your
location of choice, like the desktop or My Documents so that you can easily
retrieve it for submission to Solona. I have already tried it and it works.
