Maybe for experienced Amazon shoppers like you and me, Amazon is a piece of cake to navigate. But many other blind customers have complained about how cluttered and confusing their web site can be. I recommended Newegg.com because they seem to be willing to accomodate blind customers and they offer cheaper prices and a larger selection than Amazon.com, especially on computer products.

I'm not sure where you get the notion that Amazon.com is difficult to
navigate. I find it very easy and straightforward to purchase from their
site and do it all the time.

This is a perfectly legitimate question given how difficult it is for
blind
customers to navigate Amazon.com's web site. Their customer service
number
is: 800-201-7575. But I don't know if they will provide specific product
information over the phone. If you're looking to buy a new PC, you might
be
better off ordering it from Newegg.com. They usually have better prices
than Amazon, and invite inquiries from visually-impaired customers on
their
toll-free support line: 800-390-1119. Also, Newegg's web site is much
easier to navigate than Amazon's, and they specialize in computers and
electronics. I have purchased an external hard drive and flash drive
from
them, and have been very satisfied with their service. So before you
order
from Amazon, check out Newegg:
